Hi there. I've just got my new P460e after some years driving an L405 Vogue se. The latter came with lots of toys , some of which never got used( eg the TV function) but one which i took for granted as normal ws the ability to play music from a memory stick. However I simply can't make that work in the new car. I've spoken to my dealer ( Stratstones Reading) but they have not come back with an answer. I've also purchased a manual for the car direct from JLR which lays out what to do with a USB drive which I've followed to the letter but still no success.
does anyone know how to make a USB stick play on the latest versions of PiviPro?
By the way, despite being told that there was no owners manual for the car, after some tenacity ringing and emailing JLR, they admitted that there IS a handbook available. It is 786 pages long and provides details on many previously unknown functions of the car. However, it cost over £60 . Considering the price of the car, the extraordinary functionality and the safety implications of not understanding the vehicle's ability, this seems a rather petty and mean action by those at JLR who make such decisions
