Aluminium intake manifold

Looking at replacing my split intake manifold with one of the new aluminium options that’s going to be available in Australia in the next 6-8 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has any advice as to whether I should stick to the genuine plastic manifold or upgrade to the aluminium which can be ordered from the UK? Thanks in advance
